AccuPlan and AccuPlate work to optimize maxillofacial and orbital reconstruction surgeries using detailed patient scan data and surgeon input. Our AccuPlan surgical planning uses 3D-CAD software to design custom guides, splints, and models, and AccuPlate delivers 3D printed titanium plates for a patient’s unique anatomy, customized for screw hole placement, thickness, and contour. Our advanced 3D printing allows for intricate designs that reduce mechanical stress and ensure precision in complex reconstructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bone-Borne Surgical Guide: This is a lower profile option and can be used in situations where there is no occlusal data. This type of guide is attached directly to the bone, providing a highly stable and precise reference point during surgery. Occlusal-Based Guide: This guide is dependent on the patient’s occlusion and is placed on the patient’s teeth (occlusal surface) via intra oral access. Occlusal based guides can be a great point of reference with good occlusal data.

Mandible and Midface 3D-printed Titanium plates (non-threaded) may be as thin as 0.8 mm and up to 2.0 mm in thickness, offering flexibility based on the specific needs of the patient and the surgical requirements. Orbital 3D-printed Titanium plates (non-threaded) may be even thinner, with thicknesses ranging from 0.6 mm to 1.2 mm for delicate facial areas where precision is key. Mandible and Midface Titanium Reconstruction plates offer more variety in thickness: 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 2.6 mm, or 2.8 mm, depending on the level of strength and support required for the reconstruction. Each plate is carefully customized to ensure a perfect fit and optimal performance, no matter the application. Mandible + Midface 3D Ti (non-Threaded) : 0.8 - 2.0 Orbital (non-Threaded): 0.6 - 1.2 mm Mandible + Midface Recon: 2.0, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8mm

Our 3D-printed Titanium Reconstruction plates require a minimum spacing of 7.5 mm between each fixation hole to ensure stability and strength. In 3D-printed Titanium Orbital and Maxilla plates, spacing between holes can be tighter, with a minimum of 4 mm. The quantity of fixation holes can range from 4 to 50, depending on the specific needs of the patient. 3D-printed Titanium Mandible plates may include 4 to 75 fixation holes, with a minimum spacing of 4.5 mm between each hole to maintain proper fit and support.
